Google Nexus 7 now in India

The iconic tab has been launched in India following a recent visit by Google Executive Chairman, Mr. Eric Schmidt with shipments starting from 5th April, 2013.
In India, only the 16GB  WiFi version of the tablet is available online on Google Play Store @ just Rs. 15,999 /-
Although, variable shipping costs may be charged extra at the time of checkout depending on the destination of shipment.

    Surely, it's a pocket sized powerhouse high on performance, highly recommended for gaming enthusiasts and multimedia buffs, but the this version might just dampen the spirits due to compromise on some basic features : -
* No HDMI port
* Only WiFi (no SIM slot,thus no 3G or 4G capability)
* Only 16GB storage
*  No rear camera
           With Google keeping cards close to the chest, it would be interesting watch to see when the other Nexus members are arriving in India !
